🌱 Organic Agriculture

Since the founding of the ecovillage in 1984, we’ve been deeply committed to caring for our land and cultivating it using the best ecological practices to ensure the healthiest food possible. 

The Bio-Market Garden Farm grows over 50 varieties of vegetables, herbs, mushrooms, and berries. We explore everything that can thrive in our climate—whether in open fields or greenhouses. Thanks to our heated greenhouses, we’re able to produce high-quality vegetables year-round.

Our top priority is to nourish the members of the ecovillage, but our harvest is abundant enough to supply several local markets as well. You can find our vegetables at La Boutique de la Cité, the Petit Marché in Ham-Nord, and in select grocery stores and restaurants throughout the region. All our produce is certified organic by Québec Vrai.

Come meet our team at our weekly markets—Sundays and Wednesdays at La Boutique de la Cité, and Thursdays at the 150th Anniversary Park in the village of Ham-Nord. For schedule details, check our Facebook pages.
